We currently use Live Messenger as a "poor man's" OCS/Instant Messenger server for our company. This last week I've been in Miami getting up to power on what's happening in the phone world and taking some training. I didn't have my normal laptop so I didn't have my Live Messenger client and my colleague Harlan tipped me off to a very nice web based Live Messenger client: Meebo.com. All you need to do is login with your Live Messenger account and you're ready to go in seconds. (no registration) And it has a very nice UI. Having a bunch of IM windows opened works very nice.
